Green Giant, Lunar Triangle and Jovian Shadows A planetary pairing and moon dances take center stage in the heavens this week.

Neptune meets Mars this week for stargazers, while Jupiter's retinue plays shadow games.

Neptune and Mars. About an hour after sunset on Monday, January 19, look towards the southwestern sky for Venus and Mercury hanging near the horizon. Look higher up to see the ruddy beacon of Mars.

Telescopes trained on the red planet will reveal the very faint and tiny aquamarine disk of Neptune only 0.2 degrees north. The distant ice giant present quite a color contrast with ruddy Mars.

A stunning celestial trio low in the southwest sky forms this week with the crescent moon, Venus and Mercury.
Lunar Triangle. Just after the sun sets on Wednesday, January 21, gaze towards the thin crescent moon, which rests low in the sky toward the western horizon.

Joining it in a stunning triangular formation, and particularly eye-catching through binoculars, are the two innermost planets in our solar system, Mercury and Venus.

The waxing moon acts as a wonderfully convenient guide to spotting these two worlds.

Moon meets Mars. On Thursday, January 22, Earth’s lone natural satellite rises higher in the sky and pays a visit to the red planet. The curl of the moon's crescent will almost seem to point to Mars, just off to its left.

And wait just one more day, on Friday, January 23, when the moon will continue its journey across the sky, climbing higher to form a straight line connection with Mars and Venus. The dawn star will hang below its two companions, just above the horizon.

Moon and Uranus. After night falls on Sunday, January 25, look for the moon pairing up with the seventh planet from the sun, Uranus.

The two solar system objects will reside only 7 degrees apart, making them just fit into the same field of view in binoculars.

Triplet Jovian Eclipse. In the early morning hours of Saturday, January 24, telescopes will reveal a trio of tiny black dots trekking across the face of Jupiter.

Three of the gas giant’s moons, Calisto, Io, and Europa all cast their shadows tight on the cloud tops of Jupiter at once starting at 1:27 am EST to 1:53 am .
Happy hunting!

Top 6 tips for using ordinary binoculars for stargazing

Excerpt from earthsky.org

Admit it.  You’ve probably got a pair of binoculars lying around your house somewhere. They may be perfect – that’s right, perfect – for beginning stargazing. Follow the links below to learn more about the best deal around for people who want to get acquainted with the night sky: a pair of ordinary binoculars.
1. Binoculars are a better place to start than telescopes
2. Start with a small, easy-to-use size
3. First, view the moon with binoculars.
4. Move on to viewing planets with binoculars.
5. Use your binoculars to explore inside our Milky Way.
6. Use your binoculars to peer beyond the Milky Way.

1. Binoculars are a better place to start than telescopes. The fact is that most people who think they want to buy a telescope would be better off using binoculars for a year or so instead.  That’s because first-time telescope users often find themselves completely confused – and ultimately put off – by the dual tasks of learning the use a complicated piece of equipment (the ‘scope) while at the same time learning to navigate an unknown realm (the night sky).
Beginning stargazers often find that an ordinary pair of binoculars – available from any discount store – can give them the experience they’re looking for.  After all, in astronomy, magnification and light-gathering power let you see more of what’s up there.  Even a moderate form of power, like those provided by a pair of 7×50 binoculars, reveals 7 times as much information as the unaided eye can see.

You also need to know where to look. Many people start with a planisphere as they begin their journey making friends with the stars. You can purchase a planisphere at the EarthSky store. Also consider our Astronomy Kit, which has a booklet on what you can see with your binoculars.

2. Start with a small, easy-to-use size.  Don’t buy a huge pair of binoculars to start with! Unless you mount them on a tripod, they’ll shake and make your view of the heavens shakey, too. The video above – from ExpertVillage – does a good job summing up what you want. And in case you don’t want to watch the video, the answer is that 7X50 binoculars are optimum for budding astronomers.  You can see a lot, and you can hold them steadily enough that jitters don’t spoil your view of the sky.  Plus they’re very useful for daylight pursuits, like birdwatching. If 7X50s are too big for you – or if you want binoculars for a child – try 7X35s.

3. First, view the moon with binoculars. When you start to stargaze, you’ll want to watch the phase of the moon carefully. If you want to see deep-sky objects inside our Milky Way galaxy – or outside the galaxy – you’ll want to avoid the moon. But the moon itself is a perfect target for beginning astronomers, armed with binoculars. Hint: the best time to observe the moon is in twilight. Then the glare of the moon is not so great, and you’ll see more detail.

You’ll want to start your moon-gazing when the moon is just past new – and visible as a waxing crescent in the western sky after sunset. At such times, you’ll have a beautiful view of earthshine on the moon.  This eerie glow on the moon’s darkened portion is really light reflected from Earth onto the moon’s surface.  Be sure to turn your binoculars on the moon at these times to enhance the view.
Each month, as the moon goes through its regular phases, you can see the line of sunrise and sunset on the moon progress across the moon’s face. That’s just the line between light and dark on the moon. This line between the day and night sides of the moon is called the terminator line.  The best place to look at the moon from Earth – using your binoculars – is along the terminator line. The sun angle is very low in this twilight zone, just as the sun is low in our sky around earthly twilight.  So, along the terminator on the moon, lunar features cast long shadows in sharp relief.

You can also look in on the gray blotches on the moon called maria, named when early astronomers thought these lunar features were seas.  The maria are not seas, of course, and instead they’re now thought to have formed 3.5 billion years ago when asteroid-sized rocks hit the moon so hard that lava percolated up through cracks in the lunar crust and flooded the impact basins. These lava plains cooled and eventually formed the gray seas we see today.

The white highlands, nestled between the maria, are older terrain pockmarked by thousands of craters that formed over the eons. Some of the larger craters are visible in binoculars. One of them, Tycho, at the six o’clock position on the moon, emanates long swatches of white rays for hundreds of miles over the adjacent highlands. This is material kicked out during the Tycho impact 2.5 million years ago.

4. Move on to viewing planets with binoculars. Here’s the deal about planets.  They move around, apart from the fixed stars.  They are wanderers, right?

You can use our EarthSky Tonight page to locate planets visible around now.  Notice if any planets are mentioned in the calendar on the Tonight page, and if so click on that day’s link.  On our Tonight page, we feature planets on days when they’re easily identifiable for some reason – for example, when a planet is near the moon.  So our Tonight page calendar can help you come to know the planets, and, as you’re learning to identify them, keep your binoculars very handy. Binoculars will enhance your view of a planet near the moon, for example, or two planets near each other in the twilight sky. They add a lot to the fun!

Below, you’ll find some more simple ideas on how to view planets with your binoculars.

Mercury and Venus. These are both inner planets.  They orbit the sun closer than Earth’s orbit.  And for that reason, both Mercury and Venus show phases as seen from Earth at certain times in their orbit – a few days before or after the planet passes between the sun and Earth.  At such times,  turn your binoculars on Mercury or Venus. Good optical quality helps here, but you should be able to see them in a crescent phase. Tip: Venus is so bright that its glare will overwhelm the view. Try looking in twilight instead of true darkness.

Mars. Mars – the Red Planet – really does look red, and using binoculars will intensify the color of this object (or of any colored star). Mars also moves rapidly in front of the stars, and it’s fun to aim your binoculars in its direction when it’s passing near another bright star or planet.

Jupiter. Now on to the real action!  Jupiter is a great binocular target, even for beginners.   If you are sure to hold your binoculars steadily as you peer at this bright planet,  you should see four bright points of light near it.  These are the Galilean Satellites – four moons gleaned through one of the first telescopes ever made, by the Italian astronomer Galileo. Note how their relative positions change from night to night as each moon moves around Jupiter in its own orbit.

Saturn.Although a small telescope is needed to see Saturn’s rings, you can use your binoculars to see Saturn’s beautiful golden color.  Experienced observers sometimes glimpse Saturn’s largest moon Titan with binoculars.  Also, good-quality high-powered binoculars – mounted on a tripod – will show you that Saturn is not round.  The rings give it an elliptical shape.

Uranus and Neptune. Some planets are squarely binocular and telescope targets. If you’re armed with a finder chart, two of them, Uranus and Neptune, are easy to spot in binoculars. Uranus might even look greenish, thanks to methane in the planet’s atmosphere. Once a year, Uranus is barely bright enough to glimpse with the unaided eye . . . use binoculars to find it first. Distant Neptune will always look like a star, even though it has an atmosphere practically identical to Uranus.

There are still other denizens of the solar system you can capture through binocs. Look for the occasional comet, which appears as a fuzzy blob of light. Then there are the asteroids – fully 12 of them can be followed with binoculars when they are at their brightest. Because an asteroid looks star-like, the secret to confirming its presence is to sketch a star field through which it’s passing. Do this over subsequent nights; the star that changes position relative to the others is our solar system interloper.

Pleiades star cluster, also known as the Seven Sisters

5. Use your binoculars to explore inside our Milky Way.  Binoculars can introduce you to many members of our home galaxy. A good place to start is with star clusters that are close to Earth. They cover a larger area of the sky than other, more distant clusters usually glimpsed through a telescope.

Beginning each autumn and into the spring, look for a tiny dipper-like cluster of stars called the Pleiades.  The cluster – sometimes also called the Seven Sisters – is noticeable for being small yet distinctively dipper-like. While most people say they see only six stars here with the unaided eye, binoculars reveal many more stars, plus a dainty chain of stars extending off to one side. The Pleiades star cluster is looks big and distinctive because it’s relatively close – about 400 light years from Earth. This dipper-shaped cluster is a true cluster of stars in space.  Its members were born around the same time and are still bound by gravity.  These stars are very young, on the order of 20 million years old, in contrast to the roughly five billion years for our sun.

Stars in a cluster all formed from the same gas cloud. You can also see what the Pleiades might have like in a primordial state, by shifting your gaze to the prominent constellation Orion the Hunter. Look for Orion’s sword stars, just below his prominent belt stars. If the night is crisp and clear, and you’re away from urban streetlight glare, unaided eyes will show that the sword isn’t entirely composed of stars. Binoculars show a steady patch of glowing gas where, right at this moment, a star cluster is being born. It’s called the Orion Nebula. A summertime counterpart is the Lagoon Nebula, in Sagittarius the Archer.

With star factories like the Orion Nebula, we aren’t really seeing the young stars themselves. They are buried deep within the nebula, bathing the gas cloud with ultraviolet radiation and making it glow. In a few tens of thousands of years, stellar winds from these young, energetic stars will blow away their gaseous cocoons to reveal a newly minted star cluster.

Scan along the Milky Way to see still more sights that hint at our home galaxy’s complexity. First, there’s the Milky Way glow itself; just a casual glance through binoculars will reveal that it is still more stars we can’t resolve with our eyes . . . hundreds of thousands of them. Periodically, while scanning, you might sweep past what appears to be blob-like, black voids in the stellar sheen. These are dark, non-glowing pockets of gas and dust that we see silhouetted against the stellar backdrop. This is the stuff of future star and solar systems, just waiting around to coalesce into new suns.

6. Use your binoculars to view beyond the Milky Way.  Let’s leap out of our galaxy for the final stop in our binocular tour. Throughout fall and winter, she reigns high in the sky during northern hemisphere autumns and winters: Andromeda the Maiden. Centered in the star pattern is an oval patch of light, readily visible to the unaided eye away from urban lights. Binoculars will show it even better.

It’s a whole other galaxy like our own, shining across the vastness of intergalactic space. Light from the Andromeda Galaxy has traveled so far that it’s taken more than 2 million years to reach us.
Two smaller companions visible through binoculars on a dark, transparent night are the Andromeda Galaxy’s version of our Milky Way’s Magellanic Clouds. These small, orbiting, irregularly-shaped galaxies that will eventually be torn apart by their parent galaxy’s gravity.

Such sights, from lunar wastelands to the glow of a nearby island universe, are all within reach of a pair of handheld optics, really small telescopes in their own right: your binoculars.

John Shibley wrote the original draft of this article, years ago, and we’ve been expanding it and updating it ever since. Thanks, John!
Bottom line: For beginning stargazers, there’s no better tool than an ordinary pair of binoculars. This post tells you why, explains what size to get, and gives you a rundown on some of the coolest binoculars sights out there: the moon, the planets, inside the Milky Way, and beyond. Have fun!

A Message about the Gathering by Aisha North

A message about the Gathering

Dear friends!

Earlier today, I posted a short comment about how I felt the need to withdraw and try to take in all that has happened in the last 24 hours, but the CCs thought otherwise… They were very insistent that I should sit down and take in this message from them, and that I needed to share it as soon as possible. For some reason, they did not want me to include it as a part of The manuscript, but post it as a separate message, and so here it is:

“Dear friends, beloved family, for that is truly what you all are. And after last night’s intense reconnection, we gather that many of you can truly feel into the truth of this for the very first time. We know you have waited so long for this, but finally we can say, in the knowledge that you hearts are at last able to savour these swords: welcome home, beloved angels of light. For not only are you angels in the realms you have come from, but now, you also know that you are the same, infinite beings of light down on Earth also. For you have seen yourselves in all of your splendor, just as we see you when we gaze fondly upon you. We thank you all for opening your hearts fully to this truth, as for so many, the doors have been sealed closed in a way that made it hard to fathom they would ever open again. But last night they did, and the doors were not only opened, they were litterally flung off the hinges, for they will never be able to close again.

For once you have allowed the pristine light to touch your very core, and once you have truly allowed yourself to be loved by YOU, it will never ever go away. So again we thank each and every one of you for your courage, your wisdom, your beauty and your infinite light. You all walk in splendor now, dear ones, splendor you have earned with every tear, every parting pain, every sorrow that has ever befallen you on this earthly sojourn. For know now that you have been fully awakened from your  sleep, and just like sleeping beauty, Mother Earth has been awakened alongside you. So rest today dear ones, and try to get your bearings back, for we venture to guess you may feel somewhat befuddled after this energetic awakening and rebirth. For you have all been born again, into a body that may still feel rather battered and bruised at times, but it is a body that has been totally reprogrammed in a way that will benefit not only yourself, but your benevolent Mother also. For the planet you walk upon will be nourished by every step you take from now on, for through your veins courses the very lifeblood she needs in order for her to beat as strongly again as she once did.

So take it slow, and give yourself the time you need in order to step fully into your new shoes. They may seem to be overly large for you at the moment, but we have no doubts at all as to your ability to fill them. For you will walk with even more presence on this land from now on, and so many will begin to follow in your footsteps. Because they will be drawn to you, and to this brand new energy you all exhude, amd through this, the exodus from the old density will truly begin. For you have cleared yourselves from all of the old dross, and now, the time has come for you to form that vantage point, the spearhead, and blaze a shining trail for everyone keen to do the same. So again we thank you all for what you are, and for what you have let yourself become. For you have truly become yourselves now, in every nuance and every aspect, and so we greet you all as equals. It is indeed something you have always been, but now, you have finally started to see the same for yourselves, and that gladdens us to no end.

Thank you, that will be all for today, but we will return with more as the days go by and your lights start to shine even stronger. Thank you, we leave.”

With much love, joy and gratitude from me, Aisha

(And now, I will take a short break… :–) )

Lyriad Meteor Shower Peaks on Earth Day April 22

Sorry this info is late.....

Dré

"The best time to look will be between the time of moonset [between 1 and 2 a.m., local time] and dawn, and the best way to observe the show is to recline comfortably, facing anywhere from north to east and gazing nearly overhead," Cook said. news.nationalgeographic.com

Andrew Fazekas

Published April 19, 2010

For the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, nature will be setting off some fireworks, with the peak of the annual Lyrid meteor shower arriving on April 22.

While the Lyrids might not be cosmic celebrities like August's showy Perseids, the April meteor shower has been known to offer up a surprise or two for sky-watchers

(Related: "Comet 'Shower' Killed Ice Age Mammals?")

"Although the Lyrids have been observed since 687 B.C., the behavior of the shower from year to year is unpredictable," said Anthony Cook, an astronomer for the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles.

"An average Lyrid shower produces between 10 and 20 meteors per hour, but occasionally these rates increase to 90 per hour," Cook said. "In 1803 the shower produced about a thousand meteors per hour"—just enough to qualify as a meteor storm.

How to See the Lyrid Meteors

This year, Lyrid meteor activity began picking up on April 16, and the shower will run until April 25.

The Earth Day peak will actually come in the early morning hours of April 22, after the first quarter moon has sunk below the horizon, leaving dark skies. (Test your lunar smarts with our moon quiz.)

"The best time to look will be between the time of moonset [between 1 and 2 a.m., local time] and dawn, and the best way to observe the show is to recline comfortably, facing anywhere from north to east and gazing nearly overhead," Cook said.

"The best location is a region far from urban light pollution with a fairly open horizon."

Lyrids to Be a Sprinkle or a Storm?

The Lyrids' "shooting stars" will appear to radiate from around the brilliant star Vega in the shower's namesake constellation Lyra.

Vega now shines nearly overhead in the predawn hours for stargazers in the Northern Hemisphere. In the Southern Hemisphere skies, the Lyrids will produce just a sprinkling of meteors.

As with other annual meteor showers, the Lyrids are thought to be caused by debris left over from a passing comet. When Earth passes through the trail of particles—most no bigger than grains of sand—the tiny rocks burn up in our atmosphere, creating bright streaks.

(Related: "'Major,' Green Meteor Lights Midwest Night Sky," with video.)

The Lyrids have been linked to the periodic comet Thatcher, which has an orbit that's skewed nearly perpendicular to the plane of the solar system, the tabletop-like plane along which the planets orbit.

The dearth of planets along the comet's path means that its debris trail stays relatively stable, which is most likely why the Lyrids have been a reliable meteor shower for centuries.

But sometimes Earth passes through a particularly dense clump of cometary leftovers, and that's when meteor rates skyrocket.

So are sky-watchers this year in for a sprinkle or a storm?

"The only way to know what the Lyrids have in store for you," Cook said, "is to go outside and observe them."

~ TO BE OR NOT TO BE ~
wise words dear one...
what is the meaning
of "to be"
"to be" is to look at this
beautiful picture and "know"
that the moment contained
within this beauty
is you...
all comes from within you...!!!!!!
you could not gaze upon this picture
if you had not attracted it to you....
did you do anything this day
to "bring it to you"
or did it simply arise from within you
and show up !!!!!
this is being...
it is owning the beauty you are
and allowing that "mystery"
that goes by many names...
god...abba...all that is...
it is allowing that mystery
to birth your every now moment...
to be
is to "know"
that each now moment
is a ~new~ and divine moment...

A Million Shades of Green

The words are Denisa's the image was an added afterthought by Google:

SHADES OF GREEN

as i gazed this day
into a meadow full of colors
that only can be witnessed within
the birth of spring
i witnessed a truth
about myself...

when i think of the word green
i simply see green
yet within that word
within that perception
there are many shades of green

there are limes, moss, forest
mint, fern....
all are the color green
yet within each one there is
a unique flavor....
a shade of green all its own...

this is who i am...
i am the one spark
of the divine
 yet within my oneness
there are many shades...many brilliant
variations of my spark

i am surrounded by them each day
each one i lay my eyes upon
is a unique reflection of the
many shades of myself....

what a lovely thought

You Are Experience

Channeler: Faye Rouchi

Greetings, this is Bree, here to share this message with you....

Reality is a dream. All realities are dreams. The dreams you have while you perceive yourself as sleeping, is a dream within a dream, when one perceives the sleeping dream as a dream and the world of matter as reality. This is a misconception. All realities are dreams. All dreams are realities. They are one in the same. All dreams are created from feelings. All feelings are created from beliefs. All. Feelings are different from experience. You are moving from a world of feelings into a world of experience. Feelings are limited, separate. Feelings have labels, definition. Experience does not. Experience does not require or invoke beliefs. Experience is what you are. You are not your feelings, you create your feelings to have, to be experience. Feelings are part of what you are, not who you are. Feelings are part of experience. You are experience.

Everything you experience you have selected by the part of you within the higher realms of creation. Embrace your experiences, they are you. You have selected them. The part of you that rejects them is the part of you known as the ego, the smaller you. This ego is also you. Embrace this as well, as to reject it is to reject you, and your creation. A conscious creator always rejoices in its creation. Acknowledge when you are not rejoicing in every experience, whether labeled good or bad, desired or undesired, that you are not being a conscious creator. You have chosen the perspective of the smaller you. You have chosen to play with your creation, rather than to be your creation. You will continue to do this until you no longer hold interest with this toy. This type of experience is akin to childishness. It is limited, lacking much truth.

To choose to experience from the more expanded you, the you that created the ego, realizing the totality of your self, rather than the concentrated focus on the limited part of your self, which limits your experience, is to embrace infinite experience. So, in order to experience infinity, one must be infinite. What you are to be is a choice. Who and what you are just is, but how you are to be is always your choice. You can misperceive who and what you are, but you cannot change this. That is beyond your power. You just are. You are consciousness, the awareness of God, of Source. This you cannot change. But, you can change how you “be“. You do this by changing your feelings, and you do this by changing whether you feel or you experience. You are moving from having your focus on feelings, to having your focus on experience, in which feelings are a part. But they, feelings, are not perceived as the experience any longer, but rather a tool you use in creating your reality, your dream, your experience of your creation.

As I stated, it is wise to embrace your ego as it is your creation, and an empowered creator always rejoices in its creation. Your ego has never been nor will ever be your problem. Your rejection of it is. Your denial of it is. Your refusal to love it is your problem. All that you exclude is resistance to your Self. Stop judging your ego. Start embracing your ego. Take your gaze away from condemning , and begin to shine your awareness, within the act of love, upon it.
To focus on your feelings is to focus on your awareness within. To focus on experience is to focus on both within and without. To experience is limitless. You are limitless. To focus on experience is to focus on your limitlessness.

The world of matter is limited. It is relatively stagnant. Think of the world of matter as a single particle. See the empty space around the particle as experience, you. You are the empty space around the particle, therefore the particle is part of what you are, not all of what you are. The particle is part of your creation. You are the empty space and the particle, but only when you focus on the empty space, rather than the particle. You are your focus as this is your experience. You are experience. When you are in remembrance of what you are, you are in a state of consciousness. When you focus on the particle as what you are, you become limited and forgetful of your true nature. But, this is a choice you have made, to be the particle. To experience the particle is to be the particle. You are experience. You are consciousness. You are love, as love is a choice of consciousness. You are moving into a dream, a reality where the name of the game is to experience yourself as love, not ego. Love is a part of consciousness.

Love is part of what you are. But it is not the totality of what you are. You are experience, and experience is infinite. Love is but an experience of what you are, but you are even more than love. Love is an experience, it is an act, a choice. Love is all of these things, but you are experience, and that is even more. You are God, the experience of God, the exhaled hallelujah of God. As God, you created the ego. This you did to experience yourself by experiencing your creation. Just as the “God” “above” created you. You have experienced your ego. You have had much experience through the creation and immersing your self within this creation, the ego.

You are now going through the process of pulling out of this immersion. As you do this, you become aware of more surrounding you. You become more conscious because you become aware of more. All that surrounds you is YOU. So, as you become aware of more surrounding you, you open the gateway to that which you become aware of being you also, and your consciousness expands. The ego creates matter. Whether your ego or the ego of the Universe, or the ego of the Cosmos. So, to embrace your ego is to embrace all ego, and you become more united to the Universe and to the Cosmos. This is a big step to take to rediscovering the truth of who and what you are. You are experience. With this expanded awareness of ego, you become expanded. To embrace your ego, to choose to love your ego as your creation, you expand to love the Universe, the Cosmos. To love is to become one with. To become one with is to expand. To love is to expand. But you expand even beyond this.

Expansion is your purpose. Expansion is perceived change, as expansion is a different focus, encompassing more than that which was perceived before. You will reach a point where you are all that is once again, returning to a pure state of experience. Until that is accomplished, you will experience time; past, present and future. Time is getting shorter. Time is squeezing itself tighter, becoming more narrow. This is because your vibrations are becoming tighter, closer together, a process moving you to timelessness. As your vibrations consolidate, time shrinks, consolidates as well. There seems to be less of it, because there is less of it, until it is no longer. Consider your experience of less time a marker for you that you are closer to timelessness. Tonal is simply the unity of all vibration, the end of vibrations being separated. Just as experience is unity, of which your feelings are a part. To consolidated one is to consolidate both.

In this way, vibration and feeling become tools for your creative ability. They become the paints you use to paint your dream, your reality. There are more tools than these of course, but for now, we will stay focused on these two tools as they more directly relate to the concept of who and what you are in a more expanded state, a more cosmic state. The more cosmic you are, the more expanded you are. To limit your awareness to matter, to the particle is to limit your self perception. You are all of it, and the particle exists within the soup of the empty space. You are the particle and the empty space. But your awareness has been fixed on the particle for so long, it is a good exploratory experience to focus now on the empty space, for this then opens your awareness to both. You become expanded. Your awareness now is beyond the particle, beyond matter, beyond your human vessel. Your body has become expanded. Your body is now infinite, as the empty space is infinite.

As your body expands, your ego expands. It travels with you as long as your focus is on the Universe or the Cosmos. There is still perceived matter, and where there is matter there will be some form of ego. Embrace ego, as it is part of who you are, and part of what you are as experience. Without your ego you would cease to have experience. You are experience. This is the part of God, of Source that you are. You are the experience of God. You are consciousness. Consciousness experiences. But it is still much more. This is how vast you are. You are so vast that you will never complete your experience of your Self, although you are always complete.

As you focus on the empty space, as this becomes your experience, you are no longer limited to the human vessel in which you sit. Where you sit then, is within the empty space, carrying with you your immense experience as being matter. This is now part of who and what you are, so you carry all of matter with you. You are then the empty space and the particle, matter. As you become both, your body expands to be all of it. Your body becomes the Cosmos. You do not need to remember this, it happens automatically, every time you focus on the empty space. Simply by placing your awareness on the empty space, it becomes you. All matter is connected to the empty space. Therefore, your body becomes all of the Cosmos, contained within an infinite body, which is difficult to comprehend by the mind. Allow your mind, your creation of the ego, which has been you, the limited you that you have been playing with, to have a graceful journey. Your mind is fully capable of accepting the existence of the empty space of the Universe, and for many even the Cosmos. Just simply focus on the empty space, all the rest is automatic.

As you focus on the existence of the empty space within the Universe, the Cosmos, imagine this as that which fills the container of your human vessel. For this is truth. Embrace this as part of what you are. You are the Cosmos. The Cosmos is your creation. It is your playground to be God, to be experience. You are experience. This is who and what you are. You choose your experience. You always choose the experience that will free you from limitation. This act is an act of birth. You are birthing your creation, your ego. Your ego is birthing its creation, your mind, this is a microcosm in itself. The macrocosm is you as totality and nothing less. Part of this totality is the Cosmos, your creation also. You created the Cosmos for experience. You are experience. You created the Cosmos to experience you. You are the experience of God. God created you to experience God. You are also God, but also a part of God as well. You are both, as you are infinite, either through a microscope or a telescope.

Start being the telescope. See yourself as the empty space. Increase the colors of your palette. This will allow you to paint more expanded dreams, realities. It is at this juncture the use of imagination becomes powerful. Anything prior to this is simply fantasy. It will be our next exploration to look at fantasy and how it differs from imagination.

The Ancient Whale Says: You Matter

Dear Friends,

This morning we have a message from a power animal that I know well.  I first met him years ago when I was doing power animal retrievals, then again more recently in my Power Animal Adventures.  He is an enormous sperm whale known as The Ancient One; it is always so wonderful to hear from him.  And is now our way, Quado has added a few words at the end of his message.

The Ancient Whale Says, You Matter

I have been here since time began, since the earth first went through her birthing pains and before.  I am as old as time itself and hold within me all of the wisdom of the ages, every tick of every clock, every movement of the spheres.

I live beneath the sea and hold court here, an ancient king surveying my kingdom.  And today, I wish to impart a bit of wisdom to you.

Life matters.  Everything that you do with this moment on earth matters.  You are vitally important and have come here with purpose, with intention.  It may feel as if a veil separates you from that purpose, but it is known in your heart.  You need only go deep, as deep as I am, down here where it is completely still and you cannot hear the clamor of society or the noise of fear, come down here in every moment and see yourself mirrored in my eyes, feel yourself in the ripples of the ocean that pass through you as you gaze at me.

You have chosen to come here on this earth at this time, to enter my realm in order to do something.  It may be as simple as bringing to earth a touch of the heavenly rays that shine, to be a channel for God’s grace, to bring uplifting energy through your smile and the twinkle in your eyes.  Or it may be as challenging as lifting the energy of those around you, or healing their bodies, or opening their eyes.  But if you are reading these words, you have been led to me and to this knowledge that you have a purpose and that it matters deeply.

You know yourself.  You know why you are here.  Come deep, down deep to me.  Spend time deep until you understand it fully.  Spend time here expanding and growing into yourself.  Do what you feel you should do.  Try this and try that, always checking in with your intuition.  And in this way, following your own guidance moment by moment, you will be led to an ever-deepening knowledge of who you are and why you are here on earth at this moment, right now.

Every moment matters.  Every action.  Every dip into your courage to take the action that your heart speaks to you.  You are vitally important.  Know it and treat yourself and your life accordingly.

Quado, do you have anything to add?

Ah, such wisdom from our great friend, the Ancient One.  I would add only this:  take yourself seriously even as you live with abandon and joy.  For nothing is as seriously important as loving yourself and this life every moment of every day, embracing it, dipping into it, playing with being who you are as you enjoy the wondrous and vitally important journey of awakening fully to yourself.

World Gratitude – Day 13 – EYE AM GRATITUDE

It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend.

– William Blake

EYE AM GRATITUDE

*image ~ Stacey Robyn. "Eye Love you, Alex" 2005
Upon arrival in physical time we daily change,
re-arranging shape, form, and feature …
our bodies growing by divine design
to support our wishes, dreams, and adventures
supreme.
Now consider this – from birth on,
all dimensions change in our physical
frames ~ all except One …
The EYE.
From first blink to final wink
this window of time remains one size
offering a steady view of timely Life.
Why?

Artistic Experiment? Please Participate!

Greetings!

Thank you in advance for taking a moment to participate in my first “open call” artistic development field research study!

BACKGROUND:

I am constantly evolving my artistic style and ability to open up paths of greater communication and grander expression of myself.  I have done this relatively on my own, with very little research as to how my techniques affect the overall intension of what I am trying to communicate.  I am dedicated to evolving our reality in every way, especially how we think, relate and communicate with each other.  Bearing witness to my own internal changes I have become increasing aware of our movement away from words to more fully encompassing ways of communicating with technology and media.  So I have been evolving my artistic style to push forward this change through adding more depth or dimension to my work.I have also observed that one person can clearly perceive another may miss all together.  I am asking now for your input to aid me in fine-tuning my techniques and style.
