The genome sequence from a thigh bone found in Siberia shows the first episode of mixing occurred between 50,000 and 60,000 years ago.

The male hunter is one of the earliest modern humans discovered in Eurasia.

The study in Nature journal also supports the finding that our species emerged from Africa some 60,000 years ago, before spreading around the world.

The analysis raises the possibility that the human line first emerged millions of years earlier than current estimates.

The work of Prof Svante Paabo, from the Max Planck Institute in Leipzig, Germany, is rewriting the story of humanity. Prof Paabo and his colleagues have pioneered methods to extract DNA from ancient human remains and read its genetic code. From this sequence, Prof Paabo has been able to decipher an increasingly detailed story of modern humans as they spread across the globe.

"The amazing thing is that we have a good genome of a 45,000 year old person who was close to the ancestor of all present-day humans outside Africa," Prof Paabo told BBC News. 

Prof Paabo has analysed DNA from part of a leg bone of a man that lived in Western Siberia around 45,000 years ago. This is a key moment at the cross roads of the world, when modern humans were on the cusp of an expansion into Europe and Asia.


Thigh bone

Prof Paabo Svante has unlocked the secrets contained in this femur from one of the earliest humans discovered out of Africa.
The key finding was that the man had large, unshuffled chunks of DNA from a now extinct species of human, Neanderthals who evolved outside of Africa. 

"Our analysis shows that modern humans had already interbred with Neanderthals then and we can determine when that first happened much more precisely than we could before." 

Prof Paabo and his team published research in 2010 which showed that all non-African humans today have Neanderthal DNA. But that genetic material has been broken into much smaller chunks over the generations. 

By extrapolating the size of DNA chunks backwards, Prof Paabo and his colleagues were able to calculate when the first interbreeding with Neanderthals occurred. His study shows that it was between 50,000 and 60,000 years ago.

According to Prof Chris Stringer of the Natural History Museum in London, this early interbreeding might indicate when the ancestors of people living outside of Africa today made their first steps out of the continent in which our species evolved more than 150,000 years ago.

Prof Stringer was among those who believed that the first exit by modern humans from Africa that give rise to people outside of Africa today might have happened earlier, possibly 100,000 years ago. The evidence from Prof Paabo's research is persuading him that it was now much later.

Prof Paabo also compared the DNA of the man living 45,000 years ago with those living today. He found that the man was genetically midway between Europeans and Asians - indicating he lived close to the time before our species separated into different racial groups.

Prof Paabo was also able to estimate the rate at which human DNA has changed or mutated over the millennia. He found that it was slower than the rate suggested by fossil evidence and similar to what has been observed in families. 

"We have caught evolution red handed!" Prof Paabo said gleefully.
This raises the possibility that the very first species of the human line separated from apes 10 or 11 million years ago - rather than the five or six million years ago that genetic evidence had previously suggested. 

But he stressed in his research paper that much more analysis was needed before re-dating the emergence of the human line.

"We caution that (mutation) rates may have changed over time and may differ between human populations," he said.

Mysteries of the Early Human Ancestors #1 ~ Why did we grow large brains?

Human brains are about three times as large as those of our early australopithecines ancestors that lived 4 million to 2 million years ago, and for years, scientists have wondered how our brains got so big. There are many ways to try to explain why human brains today are so big compared to those of early humans, but the major cause may be social competition, new research suggests. 

But with several competing ideas, the issue remains a matter of debate. 

Compared to almost all other animals, human brains are larger as a percentage of body weight. And since the emergence of the first species in our Homo genus (Homo habilis) about 2 million years ago, the human brain has doubled in size. And when compared to earlier ancestors, such as australopithecines that lived 4 million to 2 million years ago, our brains are three times as large. For years, scientists have wondered what could account for this increase.

The three major hypotheses have focused on climate change, the demands of ecology, and social competition. A new statistical analysis of data on 175 fossil skulls supports the latter hypothesis. 

Behind the hypotheses

The climate idea proposes that dealing with unpredictable weather and major climate shifts may have increased the ability of our ancestors to think ahead and prepare for these environmental changes, which in turn led to a larger, more cognitively adept brain.
The ecology hypothesis states that, as our ancestors migrated away from the equator, they encountered environmental changes, such as less food and other resources. "So you have to be a little bit more clever to figure it out," said David Geary, a professor from the University of Missouri. Also, less parasite exposure could have played a role in the makings of a bigger brain. When your body combats parasites, it cranks up its immune system, which uses up calories that could have gone to boost brain development. Since there are fewer parasites farther away from the equator, migrating north or south could have meant that our predecessors had more opportunity to grow a larger brain because their bodies were not fighting off as many pathogens.

Finally, other researchers think that social competition for scarce resources influenced brain size. As populations grow, more people are contesting for the same number of resources, the thinking goes. Those with a higher social status, who are "a little bit smarter than other folks" will have more access to food and other goods, and their offspring will have a higher chance of survival, Geary said.

Those who are not as socially adept will die off, pushing up the average social "fitness" of the group. "It's that type of process, that competition within a species, for status, for control of resources, that cycles over and over again through multiple generations, that is a process that could easily explain a very, very rapid increase in brain size," Geary said.

Weighing the options

To examine which hypothesis is more likely, Geary and graduate student Drew Bailey analyzed data from 175 skull fossils — from humans and our ancestors — that date back to sometime between 10,000 ago and 2 million years ago.

The team looked at multiple factors, including how old the fossils were, where they were found, what the temperature was and how much the temperature varied at the time the Homo species lived, and the level of parasites in the area. They also looked at the population density of the region in order to measure social competition, "assuming that the more fossils you find in a particular area at a particular time, the more likely the population was larger," Geary said.

They then used a statistical analysis to test all of the variables at once to see how well they predicted brain size. "By far the best predictor was population density," Geary said. "And in fact, it seemed that there was very little change in brain size across our sample of fossil skulls until we hit a certain population size. Once that population density was hit, there was a very quick increase in brain size," he said.

Looking at all the variables together allowed the researchers to "separate out which variables are really important and which variables may be correlated for other reasons," added Geary. While the climate variables were still significant, their importance was much lower than that of population density, he said. The results were published in the March 2009 issue of the journal Human Nature.

Questions linger

The social competition hypothesis "sounds good," said Ralph Holloway, an anthropologist at Columbia University, who studies human brain evolution. But, he adds: "How would you ever go about really testing that with hard data?" 

He points out that the sparse cranium data "doesn’t tell you anything about the differences in populations for Homo erectus, or the differences in populations of Neanderthals." For example, the number of Homo erectus crania that have been found in Africa, Asia, Indonesia and parts of Europe is fewer than 25, and represent the population over hundreds of thousands of years, he said. 

"You can't even know the variation within a group let alone be certain of differences between groups," Holloway said. Larger skulls would be considered successful, but "how would you be able to show that these were in competition?" 

However, Holloway is supportive of the research. "I think these are great ideas that really should be pursued a little bit more," he said. 

Alternative hypotheses

Holloway has another hypothesis for how our brains got so big. He thinks that perhaps increased gestation time in the womb or increased dependency time of children on adults could have a played role. The longer gestation or dependency time "would have required more social cooperation and cognitive sophistication on the part of the parents," he said. Males and females would have needed to differentiate their social roles in a complementary way to help nurture the child. The higher level of cognition needed to perform these tasks could have led to an increase in brain size.


Still other hypotheses look at diet as a factor. Some researchers think that diets high in fish and shellfish could have provided our ancestors with the proper nutrients they needed to grow a big brain.
And another idea is that a decreased rate of cell death may have allowed more brain neurons to be synthesized, leading to bigger noggins. 

Ultimately, no theory can be absolutely proven, and the scant fossil record makes it hard to test hypotheses. "If you calculate a generation as, let's say, 20 years, and you know that any group has to have a minimal breeding size, then the number of fossils that we have that demonstrates hominid evolution is something like 0.000001 percent," Holloway said. "So frankly, I mean, all hypotheses look good."

Greetings from the realm of sunshine, bluebirds, waterfalls and never ending peace. I am Methuselah and I greet you with fondness for all that you do.

I am aware of your recent experience with opening a doorway of Light for those ready to enter into the Light. This is occurring planetary wise on a regular basis due to new energies. The energies of Love, Light and Peace act as a catalyst for those who are ready and willing to move to their next level. It has worked well for some time, yet there are those, shall we say, stubborn ones, who continue to hang on by their fingernails to what has served them for so long.

These ones have not been affected by the loving prompting of the effective energies. For those of you who are willing to assist them in your own way, we advise that you do so and we honor you for your choice but remember that it is an option of your choosing.

Can you think of anyone in your lineage whom you can remember, perhaps as a child, whom you were not particularly drawn to? It is these folks whom I refer to as stubborn, for many of them throughout their lives hung on by their fingernails to the negative aspects of their lives. Some of them did not make the transition to the Light and chose to remain in the fourth dimension where they continue to have their way through the energy of those in physical bodies. They are aware of what is transpiring around them, as well as in the 3rd dimension. They are aware that there is a better place to be, however their negative energy is so well ingrained that they pass on their option of moving on to the Lighted realm.

These ones that you might have known as a child are one example, for there are multitudes of discarnate entities from times before yours and from times of ancient days. Some of you have techniques that work well for you and we suggest that you spend time with the intention to help these ones move on. If you are not accustomed to doing this, we recommend that you go into a meditative state where you feel peace and love in your hearts with the intention of assisting these ones to their next stage of evolution. Know that when you form your intention to do this, you will be surrounded with Celestials beings, with Masters and Angels who wish to assist. There is nothing to fear, you are protected and the energy of the discarnate ones cannot affect you. Otherwise you would not be directed to do so.

Know that, if you choose this option, any relatives or friends existing in the 4th dimension will have no choice, as they are aware that there is a better place for them and that it is now the time for their next stage of evolution. They simply will leave.

It is not a difficult task, it is a matter of being willing and setting aside the time. You may be surprised at how easily this occurs and with the fulfillment that this will bring you. After all, serving Spirit in the way of helping to heal your ancestors is a high one. And you are highly capable of doing this.

You may know of humans who assist discarnate entities to move on as well as assist those who have passed on but are not yet aware that they are deceased. Some do this as part of their divine service.

There has been cleansing on Planet Earth for many a year now and these ones whose turn it is to step to the Light must come sooner or later. And now is the time. It will help to raise the frequency of the planet in a way that is observable and obvious from our realm.

We ask that you assume this responsibility and commend you for your choice. As the evolved masters that you are, you are capable of this and much more. See it as a favor you do for your family and others. Zoltair, will you please express your thoughts aloud?

Zoltair: Thank you Methuselah. Are you saying that we are shaking loose a new reality for our entire lineage?

Methuselah: Yes, put simply. And for the lineage of others as well. Create a doorway or a tunnel that is the conscious bridge connecting the 3rd and the 5th dimensions. This is how the discarnate entities shall cross over. There are other ways to assist and if you are directed by another method, please follow your intuition. Rely on guidance from Spirit and know that your intention of seeing these loved ones crossing to the Light is most important. Be sure to raise your vibration by allowing the highest feeling of Love and peace into your heart. Have it be a joyous celebration. All life is sacred and these ones are sacred and deserve a helping hand. It is worthy of celebration.

Zoltair: Are we including incarnated people such as brothers, sisters, friends or also those who have left through the death process?

Methuselah: We refer to all that you have mentioned. As far as living relatives, many humans carry discarnate entities with them. These ones shall be helped to the Light. Some may have become attracted and attached to your siblings during this lifetime. Some have been here since time immemorial, so know that your assistance will be as a key log, once it begins, there will be a parade of entities who are deceased humans and there will be a parade of discarnate ones who are living through the physical actions, thoughts and emotions of the incarnate ones.

Zoltair: Will this also apply to our neighbors and their lineage as well?

Methuselah: When you set out with the intention to assist in this way, if you have within your mind to assist your neighbor, it shall be so. You shall assist with not only housecleaning of relatives living and deceased, and neighbors, but perhaps an entire community.

Be aware that this may apply to each of you, you can do this for yourself, which is most important, for if you carry any negative energies which no longer serve you, it is time to let them know that their services are no longer necessary. See this as a final housecleaning of sorts.

Zoltair: I will make a determined effort to do this.

Methuselah: Determination is a word that we love hearing from our human kin. Know that all reading this will have an opportunity to serve in a magnificent way as it is almost beyond comprehension as to the undertaking that you will be doing and covers a vast amount of discarnate entities and energies whose time has come. They simply must move on.

If someone interested in participating requests your technique or techniques that others utilize, we encourage you to share. With honesty of your intent, energy and loving support, it will be successful. Know also that when assisting discarnate ones to the Light, guides and angels of the human being assisted will come forth to add their energies of love and support. Their stubbornness will be lessened and their transition will be easier. The weight that unhappy humans carry will be much lessened for them. They will see their way with more ease. It shall bring a lightness and grace into all aspects of their life. Even as I speak, we are aware that they are lining up. So by my comments, you know to take the time for another round. Open the door to the Light and allow them, with Love, to the next level of their journey.

the Little Boy

There is this chair that I remember from being a little boy... It is a small rocking chair that I sat in at my Grandparents house in when I was just a wee little being. Did I say small? Well, it is... From my limited experience with children I would guess that 3 or 4 years would be the oldest a child would be to be able to sit in it. It is rather plain, unremarkable to look at really, but it turns out to be a powerful object. It was purchased in 1855 for my dad’s great great grandfather and from that time, all the lineage of men in the Titus family have sat in that chair... including me. Now, I have to say the magnitude of this particular revelation didn’t fully dawn on me until last night, yet I have been doing the work that allowed for me to see for many, many years. There is a flood of memories that are coming back, all the synchronicity remembered... But there is one memory that kept coming up.

My mom used to say to me... “you can break the cycle...” and now I can see what she was priming me for. I am breaking the cycle.

I have had this chair in my possession now for many years. It has had a stigma attached to it for me though... there was always a pressure that I would have a child that would sit in that chair. It came from my family mostly, in those early years after I got married, but really there was a pressure to have children to one extent or another. But it never felt right to me, so I never did... And now I can see why...

There is a lineage that needs to be healed before that could ever happen and I saw it last night. This chair physically links me to 6 generations of males in my family... There is no mention of girls in the history, and I guess there were none... I’ll have to ask.

So, in 1855 my great great great grandfather and grandmother purchased this chair for their little boy. In their parenting, they would be influenced heavily by their upbringing so the strong link continues to their parents making my linkage with this chair going back to my great great great great grandparents (over 200 years)... Wow... and so I have been shown what needed to be done.

I am here to heal this family lineage... Turns out, both sides of my family actually. I am perfectly positioned at this time to do the work that effects my entire family line, mother and father’s side. I understand now... I am to bring balance and wholeness back into the world, healing 200 years of slow metamorphosis towards a masculine dominated family unit. A slow and insidious movement from the Divine Feminine to a more logical and controlling dominance over nature is what has happened to humanity. And I have seen this in my family experience that has culminated with me. 

I always said that I didn’t want to bring a child into this world as it is. And I didn’t, but now I see how that can heal and change. That healing happens with me. I was unwilling to perpetuate a cycle that has been other than good for the planet as a whole. And now I see that right before my very eyes when I look at this chair. It holds a place of honor now...

I realize that every Titus male that has sat in that chair had come across the veil in a purposeful way, choosing the Titus Family to embody their Soul Signature for a purpose. To share Love and Kindness, to be the embodiment of Creator and carry that forward onto Mother Earth. To create Heaven on Earth through thoughts, words and actions. And they all sat in this chair, Soulful energy bright and untainted by the illusion perpetuated by fear, greed, anger, etc. There I sat. In that chair, sat beings who were clear, luminescent and bright... As they aged and began to take on the “issues of the day”, the chair remained clear as they would have been too large to sit in it any more. Eventually, the chair moved out of the way... placed in storage and passed down through each generation. 

As it was brought forward again, an opportunity for another Soul to bring it through. To carry the frequency of Love throughout their physical life, to stand up for the light and break the cycle. This chair carries such Light and I admit that I had issues with it before I could see just how pure it really is. But that is what I am here to do. I have been shown that and I am doing that. I am the one I have been waiting for...

We are all about to go on a journey, We are the one's we have been waiting for!

In this knowing, I have broken the cycle...

I am to do the work that heals myself, my family, my ancestors... I am the one to show the way. I am the one who has remembered. I am Love and Kindness, I am that vibration that matches the Universal One and so to my family all of creation. Remember?

So I continue to do the work that heals and heal generations while doing so. I am realigning to Creation, connecting to my original blueprint... the energy that I brought forward into this dimension when I chose this body, these parents and grandparents. I am seeing the Truth and it brings freedom. Love is all around me and I am Love. Embodying that brings forth an entirely different beingness than I carried throughout most of my life... I like it!!!!

I look at this chair now and I remember sitting in it. The little boy with the Old Soul, gently taking it all in... Such wonder and amazement expressed, Joy and Bliss. I remember... Before the body developed or the ego was formed, I remember. And, as those who came before, I grew out of the chair and began to forget.

But I remember now...
I take a deep breath, center and begin to rock...

Water Power & Free Energy

This week we deal with the subject of energy. Something that the Sumerian tablets describe very clearly, when they talk about the Anunnaki settlers on Earth using water as fuel. For decades we have ignored the information captured by scribes some 4000 years ago but the latest discoveries in science are forcing us to reconsider the ancient message.


Ancient knowledge - new discovery?
The more research I do on alternative energy sources, the more horrified I become at the emerging evidence of some kind of very powerful clandestine movement to suppress new discoveries in this area. There are reports of a diverse number of free energy sources that have been presented by scientists and ordinary men over the past 150 years, and yet, the world is trapped in an energy crisis that is very quickly affecting all our lives and our evolutionary ability. But the effect goes well beyond the social well-being of people of the world. The consequences of the greedy manipulation and control of energy is rapidly affecting global climate and the planet as a whole. On a spiritual level this kind of manipulation has invisible but tangible effects on humankind as it quietly and cunningly keeps us enslaved to an invisible group of individuals who wield power in ways that the majority of us cannot understand.
So why is the control of energy so important? Because everything around us today requires energy. Progress and evolution requires energy. Our homes, cars, water, coffee, hair salons, phones, industry, space explorations, and the list goes on.
Therefore, access to free energy would give people the freedom to become self sufficient to a large extent and live wherever they want and pretty much be able to do what they want. Energy is the ether of the universe. It exists everywhere and it cannot be destroyed. I am not the only one who believes that the global petroleum giants have been keeping new forms of energy well wrapped up until such time that they have exhausted the financial benefits from fossil fuels.
We have to ask ourselves, are they somehow linked or answerable to the original creators of the Homo sapiens? Are they now performing the role of slave master over humankind? Doing everything in their power to prevent humans from achieving this major step in evolution that would possibly enable us to rapidly conquer space exploration and start asking more challenging questions about our status on this planet?

Nikola Tesla 1856 – 1943 was possibly one of the most important inventors and scientists ever, but his name was taken out of school books in the early fifties and most of us have never heard of him. He has about 200 patents in his name. He invented the radio, the telephone, the TV, AC poly phase, 60 cycle electricity, fluorescent and neon lights, the brushless motor, wireless communications, the Tesla coil and all coils we use today, transformers and just about everything you will find at a power plant. Hydro-generators, Laser beams, particle beams, helicopters, robotics and many more inventions. But just like most great thinkers he died a poor man. But his main obsession was free energy for all. He had developed a system where everyone could tap into a free energy source that could be distributed through the air, with power towers scattered around the world. It could power cars, trains and airplanes, boats, buses, etc. A totally clean and safe power source.
During the summer of 1931, Tesla demonstrated the first car that drove on free energy or electricity if you want. It was a Pierce Arrow, one of the luxury cars of the period. The petrol engine had been replaced with a round and completely enclosed electric motor of approximately 1m in length and 65cm in diameter, with a cooling fan in front. It retained a clutch, gearbox and transmission to the rear wheels. The "energy receiver" or gravitational energy converter was built by Tesla himself. It was installed in front of the dashboard. A heavy antenna of approximately 1.8 metres came out of the converter. Two thick rods protruded approximately 10cm from the converter housing. Tesla pushed them in saying "Now we have power". The motor achieved a maximum of 1800rpm and Tesla said there was enough power in the converter to illuminate an entire house, besides running the car engine. The car was tested for a week, reaching a top speed of 90 miles per hour effortlessly drawing its power from Tesla's Tower.
But for inexplicable reasons the funding was stopped by JP Morgan and Tesla's free energy tower on Long Island was taken down. Who got to JP Morgan? While the US government took control of the generators designed by Tesla at Niagara Falls, they knew that they could never control cars running on free energy. What happened to the car and the technology? No one seems to know. It is however highly suspicious that when Tesla died penniless at the age of 86, all his documents were confiscated by the authorities.

Today we now know that even at absolute zero temperature of -273 Celsius elementary particles continue to demonstrate energetic behaviour. This is called ZPE or Zero Point Energy and has created much excitement in scientific circles. Scientists believe that it is possible to tap into this universal pool of energy to allow the possibility of space travel. But ZPE theories also suggest new ways to understand inertia and gravity and thus potentially controlling these forces. It goes much further however, as we start to talk about far-out possibilities such as "warp-drive" space propulsion systems.

Contributions to this field have been done by such pioneers as Nobel laureates Ilya Prigogine, Dirac, John Wheeler, Puthoff and Julian Schwinger. There is a whole group of scientists that have conclusively shown the world new innovative ways of generating safe energy by demonstrating devises where the power output exceeds the power input. Some of these researchers include Nikola Tesla, Moray, DePalma, Newman, Boyer, Puthoff, Fleischmann, Pons, Bearden, Graneau, Patterson, Ward, and many others.  
It is Pons and Fleischman that created much excitement in 1989 with their demonstration of what came to be referred to as "cold fusion" by generating energy in a laboratory without heat or any dangerous byproducts. But Patterson took the work even further by achieving significant results in both energy production and the transmutation of elements. Scholars now also believe that by means of a simplified extension of Electromagnetics and Classical Mechanics we could develop an energy system which requires no fuel of any kind, and a propulsion system which requires no propellant mass. Such an energy system need not burn, transform, or modify a fuel and thus create no waste products like pollution. The propulsion system would actually transcend so-called "anti-gravity" systems or levitation devices because the new inertial propulsion system would not require a gravity field such as the Earth in order to achieve significant propulsive thrust.
But water has been the focus of attention for a long time as the primary source of energy for unlimited applications. Its components, hydrogen and oxygen, have a great potential to change the way the world operates. While we are led to believe that it is very complicated to utilize the latent energy trapped in every molecule of water, there are many individuals who have developed innovative devices and breakthrough technology to use water as an extremely effective energy source.
Sadly, none of these devices and discoveries has ever come close to reaching the global population. And while two thirds of the world is covered by water and more water arrives on Earth from space all the time in the form of comets, water will remain the most lucrative source. And therefore also the most guarded technology by the petroleum giants that control the status quo on Earth. They are not prepared to give up the multi-trillion dollar industry and the control over their enslaved earthlings before all the fossil fuel is completely exhausted. It may cause a global economic meltdown in the process but this is obviously not their concern.
In 2004 I saw a documentary about the first "water" car made by Mercedes Benz, as they tested it on the roads of Iceland. The driver and presenter was highly impressed saying that there was no difference in its performance. It all seemed so simple and I assumed that we would see these cars on the roads in no time. So where are they? Or did the petroleum companies get to the Merc board of directors with an offer they could not refuse? Then out of the blue an American engineer called Denny Klein shows his amazing skills by turning water into an energy source for a number of applications. From a blow torch reaching a temperature of over 5000 Celsius, to propelling his car. Should we be surp rised at these discoveries? Of course not. The Sumerian tablets talk about the early settlers on Earth using water as a fuel source to propel their space ships. But this has always been too incredible for historians and scientists to swallow and stories like these have ignorantly been written off as mythology.
It seems that we are finally rediscovering things our pre-historic ancestors knew very well. But there is a lot more to this fantastic story which I will share in my next article. My prediction is that just like all other discoveries of this nature, we will probably never hear of Denny Klein again, or he will be ridiculed by the scientific media and reduced to ongoing research in some backward village. 2010 Spring Equinox: Saturday, March 20

The Spring Equinox has arrived, the beginning of the solar year in the Northern Latitudes. It is time to decide what you want to create this year, and then use manifestation to empower these ideas. If you want to have an ordered intentional life, choose your projects in the spring, deepen this work during summer, and then balance these creations with the other aspects of your life during fall. From the Winter Solstice until spring, we naturally fall into deep contemplation about what we are creating in the world. If you live this way, you will find yourself moving into attunement with Nature.

Since Christmas 2009, many of you have let go of old judgments and sureties about what you want to do with your life. Now, you are pristine, you are a fertile field for new intentions. This is especially true this spring because Mars went direct in Leo a few weeks before the ingress of the Sun into Aries. This "popped" many hidden things into the light that will be cleared away, which will make space for new ideas.

When the Sun moves into Aries, the potential for manifesting new realities is always very powerful. Whatever you intend during the Spring Equinox tends to happen easily and forcefully. And, whatever is in your mind tends to happen without you even intending it, so it is wise to be very clear about what you are thinking about right now. Sort out what you'd really like to be involved in this year, now that you are emerging from deep winter contemplation. You are an empty wineskin waiting to be filled. Our ancient ancestors discovered that they could create almost anything by using the powers if the Spring Equinox. In modern times the Easter Bunny and/or the Resurrection draws our attention away from this opportunity. Meanwhile, choosing three things you want to create during the Spring Equinox really works! So, begin a few days before spring actually arrives by making your list of three and have them ready for meditation.

About fifteen minutes before the solar entry into Aries, sit alone or in a circle with friends, and then bring out your list. Writing things down ahead of the time is a good idea. My favorite manifestation technique is described in detail in The Alchemy of Nine Dimensions on pages 131-32 of the first edition and pages 133-34 in the newly-released second edition. Here is a quick summary: Beginning with the first intention you think you want to create, read it, then close your eyes and imagine yourself actually having it; feel what this would be like. Then say to yourself, "If I could have it, would I take it?" You may be surprised to discover that sometimes you don't want something, while knowing what you do want clears your head. If you honestly can answer yes to having this thing, then go on and manifest it. Otherwise, drop the idea.

With your wish in mind, do three visualizations of scenes that portray this creation actually happening in your life. Never include people who might make this possible for you because that is influencing others, or conjuring. First of all, it doesn't work, and secondly, you are interfering with others. As you visualize each scene, see each image in front of your third eye. Once it is clearly visible in your third eye, transfer this picture to the back of your skull right above the top of your spine (medulla oblongata), and see your medulla as a television screen and transfer the image onto it. See it as clearly as possible, make it crackle, and then go right to work on the next scene. Once you've visualized all three scenes, say, "So be it!" Then use the same visualization process with the two other things on your list. Put your list away somewhere for reference during the year. I have a special box for mine.

You may also want to have the Spring Equinox chart and this reading with you during the Equinox meditation. For some people, understanding the quality of the energy that exists enhances their manifestation powers. The Spring Equinox chart describes an energy field that will have great influence over the next three months, leading up to the Summer Solstice. First a creational field sets into the planet during the Equinox, and then it just keeps on developing and recalibrating during the three New Moons that follow. Nature invents new worlds during the spring, so by manifesting things at this time, you are putting in your "order" on the hot list, so to speak. Most people who use this technique for a few years are shocked by how successful it is. So, watch out for what you ask for!

This year's Spring Equinox is very formative, because Mercury/Sun in Aries conjuncts Uranus in Pisces and opposes Saturn in Libra. And, Pluto in Capricorn forms the head of a T-square to this intense opposition of four planets. The energy intensity is the strongest between the close opposition of the Equinox Sun to Saturn in 1 degrees of Libra. Saturn retrograde in Libra is pulling away from its exact square to Pluto on January 31, and its final square will be on August 21. There is also a very close square to Pluto from Mercury in Aries, which locks in the intensity of this T-square and accentuates the developments inspired by the great Saturn/Pluto squares.

This means spring 2010 will be a tense, combative, change-oriented time that will shift many entrenched realities. I will discuss a few specific issues that suddenly popped into the limelight when Mars went direct. In my reading for the Pisces New Moon (March 15), I noted that recent earth changes are going to pressure our species to stop wasting precious resources in warfare, because so many people on the planet are suffering calamities. Well, this Equinox T-square is going to push relentlessly for the end to this profligate waste.

Saturn-square-Pluto was very close together from November until now, and it is only moving apart for a little while this spring. The current T-square involving five planets (Mercury/Sun/Uranus/Saturn/Pluto) locks in the influence of Saturn-square-Pluto all the way through the spring season. Saturn in Libra (October 2009-October 2012) pushes Pluto in Capricorn's struggle to transform economic and societal structures into a balancing mode. Regardless of Saturn's struggle for harmony, the Sun in 0 Aries demands we just get the job done. This Equinox is going to be characterized by a resounding scream for action, deep change, and new pathways, a shift that already started when Mars went direct on March 10. This process actually began when Pluto went into Capricorn in 2008, and then it deepened during the first Saturn/Pluto square in November 2009. Systems that have been tottering are going to crash, such as the Catholic Church under the pressure of clerical sexual scandals, and the many countries that are threatened with economic collapses. Mercury in Aries ahead of the Equinox Sun suggests that many people know exactly what is going on, and they are fostering these collapses because they seek new ways to create what they want in our world. Uranus in late Pisces just before the Aries Sun means that the spiritual awakening of Uranus in Pisces (2003-2011) is culminating this spring. Just imagine how new spiritual pathways will open when Uranus goes into Aries during Spring Equinox 2011!

This great T-square heralds a great crisis in consciousness that can shake up dysfunctional systems. The Galactic Underworld time acceleration (1999-2011) has been exposing many of the abusive systems that have been used to manipulate people, such as medicine-for-profit. The Roman Catholic Church has manipulated people for two thousand years, but now the priestly sexual-abuse scandals are penetrating the Vatican and rocking the Petrine throne. Clerical sexual-abuse scandals and huge payments to the victims have been weakening the American Catholic Church for more than twenty years. In the last few years, Ireland has been rocked by 15,000 abuse complaints. In Germany, the Vatican has been on the defensive since 170 former students of Catholic schools came forward with abuse claims in Church-run orphanages and schools.

Bishop Giuseppi Versaldi of the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome announced that the Pope has been "a vigilant shepherd of his flock decisively denouncing the filth in the priesthood." Strangely, on March 13, just after Mars went direct, the Munich archdiocese reported that when he was the Cardinal Archbishop of Munich, Joseph Ratzinger (now called Benedict) had approved therapy for a priest known to be an abuser in the 1980s. Then Ratzinger transferred the pedophile to Upper Bavaria, where he was soon convicted for abusing minors. Ratzinger knew this priest was an abuser, yet he allowed him to continue in his ministry. Some writers, such as John Clooney, are already saying that Ratzinger's position as Supreme Pontif could become untenable. These transits are tearing up institutions that have been controlling human access to divine consciousness for too long.

The Equinox Moon gives us a reading for the condition of the public mind. The Moon in 26 Taurus is in a tight square to Chiron/Neptune. Stolid Moon in Taurus tells us that our spiritual healing crisis, inspired by the long-lasting Chiron/Neptune conjunctions in Aquarius, is coming to a head this spring. The great wise bull has the depth and patience to cry "Enough!" The public is not going to be patient with platitudes and procrastinations now; they will demand that heads will roll. The Moon in Taurus trining Saturn in Libra means that our feelings will be strong and confident this spring. Simply put, the public is going to be demanding and irate, and they are going to throw off their oppressors.

Newly-direct Mars in Leo is the real key to the spring because it aspects so many other planets, like a musician playing all the octaves. Mars closely trines the Sun going into Aries, a very benefic influence this spring. As each one of us strives to do things in new ways, Mars trining the Equinox Sun will give us strength and will power, a clear sense of direction, and the ability to just put ourselves into first gear. Saturn in Libra closely sextiles Mars in Leo, so we will have harmonic structural support when we use our will power to get what we want. Mars in Leo also sextiles the Moon in Taurus, which means we will be emotionally stable while undertaking difficult things. Pluto in Capricorn is quincunx to Mars in Leo during the Equinox. This firey and earthy quincunx is exact in mid-April, and then Pluto goes retrograde until mid-September, right before the Fall Equinox. While we consider the deep structural changes inspired by Pluto, Mars in Leo will nudge and push us to get involved in these processes. People will tend to just charge forward in spite of any obstacles because retrograde Pluto in early Capricorn will be constantly reminding them it is time to change.

When Mars went direct on March 10, all kinds of blocked processes began releasing, such as the Arab/Israeli stalemate. Just when Vice President Joe Biden completed talks with the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Israel announced they were building 1600 more homes for Jews in East Jerusalem on Palestinian land. This was a slap in the face to official American policy, as well as an act of utter rudeness. Biden responded to this insulting behavior by arriving at a state dinner with Premier Netanyahu ninety minutes late, a radical way to show displeasure in the Middle East. As I write this file, Hillary Clinton is being very vocal about this insult to America, while the media calls it the "New Chill". Well, if the United States changes its policy toward the Israelis, it would influence all policy in the Middle East; this Spring Equinox chart predicts such great changes.

Perhaps women like Hillary Clinton will be able to cause change this spring. Venus in 16 Aries squares the lunar North Node in 18 Capricorn and the South Node in 18 Cancer. When the nodes are in Capricorn/Cancer (August 2009 through March 2011), we are inspired to construct new structures and systems that work for us by letting go of old security and nurturance. We are in the middle of this process, and Venus in Aries squaring the lunar nodes suggests a karmic crisis this spring over the role of women and power in society. As we come to the end of the Mayan Calendar and as the National and Planetary structures are falling, the patriarchy that created them also must go, yet many men just don't know how to change. Women need to assume more power this spring to function as guides while these structures fall away.

Jupiter in Pisces is not aspected during the Spring Equinox, which means its spiritual and tectonic force is weak this spring. Perhaps, and I am only speculating, religious tension will calm this spring, and certainly the tectonic factor needs calming. I wrote a lot about the high level of earthquakes in the Pisces New Moon reading, and the quakes are continuing with a 6.6 quake in Japan on March 13. I am very concerned about these quakes, and I am sure you are too. So, I'd like to end this reading with a very funny commentary on my favorite subject, sex.

A report on sex and aging from the British Medical Journal was released on March 10, just when Mars went direct, so the information in this report is very relevant. I want to report on it here because the global-elite-run media will probably be directed to not discuss it. It contains some very damaging information about the use of recreational sex drugs, such as Viagra and Cialis. It caught my eye because there has been almost no discussion about what is really going on with these drugs since they were introduced in 1998 (Galactic Underworld stimulants!). Yet, these drugs are widely advertised in seductive ways, causing doctors to hand them out like candy, yet there are no public studies of how they affect health.

The researchers found that men tend to be sexually active until they hit 70 and women until they are 66. For those women who were sexually active at age 75-85, only half reported their sex lives were "good", yet men had more favorable reports. There are obviously many ways to interpret these findings, but several things really stand out for me. First of all, many women end up being single after they are 60 because they lose their partners to death or younger women. Meanwhile, many men want to keep themselves sexually active, especially if they have younger partners. Erectile dysfunction (ED) drugs have really changed the playing field since 1998 by creating a sexual renaissance during the Galactic Underworld. Yippie!

But, there is a dark side to all this fun between the sheets-heart attacks for older men, not to mention trips to the chiropractor! In Switzerland, a country that tends to take responsibility for its citizens, brothels are being required to train their prostitutes to use defibrillators to help prevent clients from dying in the throes of passion! Well, here is my issue: Practitioners of alternative medicine are forbidden to prescribe many substances and to use alternative techniques because somebody might get hurt. Yet, the truth about the real dangers of ED drugs is suppressed. How many men are having heart attacks while using these drugs? Since this is often embarrassing for families, the old guy just gets sent quietly off to the undertaker. Big Pharma doesn't want to lose profits and maybe some elderly old men just want to blow themselves away in bed? The problem is, men and women who might benefit from ED drugs have no way to evaluate their safety, and should not use them until the truth is told. Maybe nobody is paying attention, since they are the only legal way to commit suicide right now? With that happy thought, let me wish you a happy spring!

Celestun – A Heavenly Place of Light

to assist me in this community where I reside…to assist lightworkers everywhere to fulfill their missions.”

Once upon a moon, when I was a much younger woman, Spirit guided me to undertake a pilgrimage from the States, where I was residing, to Belize, the land of my birth.  During that life altering journey and travel, I was led to settle on a small island off the coast of mainland Belize, named Caye Caulker.  This beautiful island inhabited by approximately 1800, mostly traditional, Catholic, Mestizo, people held absolutely no light in the mass consciousness of the villagers.  I came to slowly understood, though, that Spirit’s will was for me to remain in this particular community as the “holder” and “bringer”of the light.  I have done Spirit’s will, with my immediate family (all of whom are angelic souls) for over 14 years of our lives.  It has never been easy.

In fact, here is a typical example of my life onthe island… One year I decided to teach in the newly founded high school to create some goodwill in the community.  One of the classes I taught was yoga for physical education.  I had been branded a witch many times in Caye Caulker.  Teaching yoga only seemed to reinforce the local viewpoint that I was indeed practicing witchcraft.  Thank goodness, my boss and the high school principal supported my class 100%  and backed our position with FACTS.  Together we overcame the local beliefs and by the end of the year, the students were teaching their parents stress reducing poses.

I have continually and painstakingly engaged with the community’s extreme superstitions, obeah ( a form of black magic used to bring harm to another), and all other low level forms of energetic interactions (alcoholism, domestic violence, drug addiction, machismo behaviours and emotional & sexual abuses) over the years, while at the same time attempting to create and maintain my own piece of heaven.  I cannot emphasize enough- it has been a daunting task.  Nonetheless, it was my purpose, a clear directive from the Ancestors and the Star Elders, so I undertook my role with due diligence and compassion.  Arriving in full force to assist me in this community were the magical elementals, the standing people (the trees and plants), and the cool blues and turquoises of Yemeya’s salty Caribbean Sea, who have been my friends, my allies and my protectors in this place which holds such extremes of darkness and light.

I understand that many lightworkers have been guided to various geographic areas to do Spirit’s work in these auspicious times on Earth.  I also understand that we can no longer maintain and sustain our realities without a seriously strong support network.  The Gods have encouraged me to create “Celestun”, a heavenly place of light.  A place where lightworkers, healers, and conscious individuals can retreat and rejuvenate.  It is my intention to expand my current island business, www.cocoplum.typepad.com, to create this much needed place and vision.  I can no longer be one of the few people in this part of the Caribbean holding the light.  I need assistance.  I send out a request to any interested individual(s) to please join me in co-creating Celestun if they feel so compelled.  I invite any of my readers to visit my little english speaking island in the region of  Central America on the Caribbean Sea in the country of Belize.  Enough said.

Allow me to return to discussing this eminent Earth birth which was the topic of my last post, “Surrender”.  In the latter part of a woman’s pregnancy, early contractions called Braxton-Hicks, will begin to occur.  These contractions prepare a woman’s body for the actual birth and it allows her body to understand, in mild form, what the real contractions will feel like once they commence to start.  The Earth has begun her Braxton-Hicks and on one of the latest contractions (Chile Earthquake) her axis tipped and time sped up.  Wow!  We are definitely about to move and groove in this pregnancy, hence the Turkey earthquake.  On the night preceding this movement, I couldn’t sleep a wink.  All the dogs in my neighborhood felt the same as they howled and moaned the night away.  It was another huge release of energy for the earth.  Yes, the Earth herself is cracking open!  Be aware and prepared, all those who live on the fault lines, your time is drawing near.   Everytime I go into meditation, I feel the low rumbles of the  Earth quaking.  At fist, I feel fear, and then, I surrender to the force of the earth, and lastly, I breathe calm into the land.  If you can find this serenity inside your body, you can actually transmit it through your feet into the ground.  If enough people are sending a peaceful message to the land, then a community can control their surroundings and their contractions.

The earthquakes are not our only concern/movements these days.  If you listen to the world news it is simply overwhelming, between the natural disasters (another large glacier broke off, denying oxygen to the seas and their creatures) and the manmade violence (the babies and toddlers slaughtered in Nigeria in the name of religious intolerance), I simply sit back and wait on the forceful volcanic eruptions sure to follow (notice Celia Fenn discusses her friends in Chile and the oozing volcanic lava in her March earthlog)… sigh, cry…do not become immune to the information...so many souls have agreed to depart or suffer in these times so as to assure that all others will keep their hearts wide open.

The death of the old reality is so obvious.  We will never return to a reality that hoards possessions.  We will never return to a reality that enslaves another.  At present though, the oligarchy assumes the same viewpoint it has had for the last 10,000 years:  population control of the enslaved masses, while they wield and control the resources of the Earth. The oligarchy will have to fall into one of those large cracks the earth creates to make room for the compassionate souls and new leaders who wish to create our harmonious Earth.

Lately, I am constantly receiving a vision of teepees (I conjure up my friends gorgeous Earth Ship home in Taos, New Mexico).  The teepee has many symbolic meanings.   Firstly, Spirit is asking everyone once again to simplify.  Just as a woman will prepare her house for a new baby, we are being guided to prepare our teepees to be uncluttered, beautiful home dwellings that are fulfilling and life-giving.  Create an energetically clean space that is  ready to welcome a new-born baby.  Secondly,  a teepee for the Native Americans was transportable.  If the tribe felt danger or uncertainty, they could pack up their teepees and relocate.  Life itself is very fragile.  A natural disaster can wipe out your entire existence, your home and all your possessions without much notice, so over-attachment to anything is simply not healthy.  I reiterate Aluna Joy and the Star Elders message, “you can’t take anything with you but your love and your truth”.  Live lightly!  Thirdly, a teepee represents the material and our ability to manifest.  It is the Lakota symbol for wealth and well-being.    If you are currently hoarding possessions or carrying too heavy of a material load; let it go.  Get to your teepee!

Practice, even if it is just once in your life, the great give-away.  In the early 1900’s, the US government outlawed the Native American pot-latch ceremony (the give-away), as they could not understand how such “poor’ people would give away all their possessions.  It was disconcerting for the white-Eurocentric mind who believes in collecting/hoarding/saving possessions, so they made it illegal.  The give-away teaches us to release, without attachment, our greatest possessions and it teaches us above all else, that the earth is eternally fertile and all our needs will be provided for again and again through the community.  Whenever one feels lack, of anything, Spirit counsels giving away a valued possession.  Are you in need of health?  Give-away!  Are you in need of love?  Give-away!  Are you in need of money?  Give-away!  Through the eternal spiritual laws of energy and return, all ones needs will be met.

Take a look at the community around you?  What can you give-away to help ease the burden of another?  Do you have a community that will support you?  A group of like-minded individuals that care about your well-being?  Do you have your own personal Celestun, heavenly place of light? If not, it is crucial at this moment to form some sort of network.  Be it on the internet, a sacred moon circle or your collective neighborhood.  We have heard over and over again that we must come together in conscious community.  Now, more than ever.  Presently, Carl Calleman is calling for a Conscious Convergence (July 17-18, 2010) of lightworkers to prepare for the last stages of our pregnancy.    The old ship is going down , the S.O.S. has been fired.  We are approaching the ninth and final wave of the Mayan Calendar Evolutionary Theory- the cosmic unity consciousness.
