Headline #1: Daytime Moon, West After Sunrise

Synopsis:  For the next few mornings, look west after sunrise for the daytime moon. The September 5-6, 2017 full moon has passed. Now the moon is in a waning gibbous phase, which means it rises in the east later and later each evening. So you’d look east before going to bed tonight to catch the moon over the eastern horizon. Then you’d look in the west after sunrise tomorrow, or in the next few mornings, to see the daytime moon over your western horizon. When is the best time to see the moon in the sky during daylight hours? The answer is that a daytime moon is up there much of the time, but, because it’s pale against the blue sky, it’s not as noticeable as the moon at night.

Headline #2: Major X-Class Solar Flare

Synopsis: The Flares Continue: Sunspot AR2673 has remained active on Sept. 7th, producing three M-class flares (M2.4, M1.4, M7.3) and another X-flare (X1.3). Unlike yesterday’s monster X9-flare, however, none of today’s explosions have hurled a significant CME toward Earth. Ham radio operators may be noticing the effects of these most recent flares in the form of minor shortwave blackouts and strange propagation effects. Many are asking about the historic context of this event. How epic is it? Answer: This is a decade-class flare.

Headline #3: UFO Sighting in Corpus Christi, Texas

Synopsis: Hurricane Harvey was occurring the evening of August 25th, 2017 and the power was off–the winds were hitting the west side of our house; we were hot, due to no air conditioning, so we had opened our living room windows and front door on the east side of our house…there was no rain or high wind coming in from this east side…all we could do was sit and ride out the hurricane…so we sat and watched the neighbor’s pecan tree bending and whipping in the high winds and gusts; around 1:30 a.m. or so, as we sat in the dark of our living room watching the storm increase in intensity, all of a sudden I heard a very deep hum–I started to say ‘What is that deep humming noise?’ and at that same moment–appearing before my eyes was an object descending down to the middle of our vacant street.

Headline #4: “Fireball” Seen In The Sky Over Great Falls, Montana

Synopsis: (Great Falls)– Something in the sky caught the eyes of some Great Falls residents on Monday night. The incident happened at about 11:10 p.m. on Monday. Headline #5: UFO Sighting in Lapeer, Michigan

Synopsis: I was sitting at the kitchen table and I happened to look out the window to the southeast direction when my eye caught  bright objects–at first l thought they were reflections from lights inside the house, but then I saw that they were moving from left to right; the first group were at different heights and not in any formation, followed closely by two or three more, moving in the same manner.
