Headline #1: Great Square of Pegasus Points To Andromeda Galaxy
Synopsis: Tonight, look for the nearest large spiral galaxy to our Milky Way. It’s becoming well placed for evening viewing from Northern Hemisphere locations. The Great Square of Pegasus is a great jumping off point for finding the famous Andromeda galaxy, also known to astronomers as Messier 31. As seen from mid-northern latitudes, the Great Square of Pegasus looks like a … well … a big square. Go figure.
Headline #2: Watch Moon’s Shadow Slide Across The United States From Space
Synopsis: Thanks to the millions who witnessed and photographed the total solar eclipse on Monday, we’re quite familiar with what the event looked like from the ground. But what did it look like from space? Thankfully, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is testing out its latest weather satellite, known as GOES-16, which launched in November of 2016. The agency put the satellite to use tracking the eclipse.
Headline #3: Mysterious UFO Circles Cley Hill/Warminster/Frome For Several Minutes
Synopsis: A mysterious UFO has been captured on video circling over Cley Hill near Frome for several minutes. The unidentified flying object was spotted by Frome resident Jeremy Le Fevre. He had been travelling home on Saturday evening August 19th after performing with the Frome Street Bandits at the Cheese and Grain Rum Festival. Upon spotting the strange object he took a moment to watch the unusual movements of the light. He said: “I had never seen anything like it before. It really caught my eye. It went on for quite some time before flying off into the distance towards Longleat.”
Headline #4: Spain: UFO Reported Over Brenes/Seville
Synopsis: Several witnesses saw an oval-shaped object that put forth considerable light with bright flashes, moving parallel with the horizon. The summer of 2017 has been particularly active as regards aerial mysteries and unknown phenomena. The UFOs of yesterday remain as current as ever and materialize yet again to fill us with wonder and disbelief.
Headline #5: UFO Sighting in Westport, New York
Synopsis: My husband and I were driving at night in the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate New York four years ago in August; we were on Route 87 and took the exit–whose number I can’t recall–onto Youngs Road near the town of Westport; the area was quite desolate with thick forests and mountains, the only building visible was the Hilltop Motel; when we were on the exit ramp, we saw a UFO in the sky beyond the motel–it was very large, about the size of a baseball field and it was hovering above the trees.
Headline #6: UFO Sighting in Sanford, Florida
Synopsis: I was driving into my neighborhood last night at approximately 9:30 and was preparing to park my car in my garage when I glanced up in the southeast sky at my roof line and noticed three glowing, pulsating, orange orbs flying slowly in a northwesterly direction in a large triangular formation–as far as size perspective goes–they were the size of a typical pearl bead held at arm’s length.
